❝ So maybe you are broken…but instead of trying to put yourself back together again, struggling to remember where each bit went. Instead of stressing over making yourself ‘perfect’, learn to love the pieces as they are: beautiful and unique.
Just because you are in pieces, doesn’t mean you’re not whole.
Say you took a vase and dropped it on the ground, watching it shatter. You would see that the vase is broken but you still have a “whole” jar. All the bits are on the floor, they are still there, there are no ‘missing’ pieces. The vase now simply takes a different form…and think of all the wonderful possibilities for that broken vase…think of all the different, magical things you could create with it. A mosaic, a wind chime, a chandelier, a backsplash for your kitchen, you could make ornaments or decorations for your bedroom, you could heat the glass down and make beads for a lovely necklace. The possibilities are endless.
Sometimes things really are more beautiful, more precious, more special for having been broken.
Embrace your pieces, they are what makes you one of a kind! ❞
